Proposal Collaboration

If you have ever been involved with seeking approval for a proposal from multiple recipients, you can appreciate how frustrating it can be.  Feedback is scribbled on post-it notes, and approvals are lost in stacks of paper on your colleagues desk.

Zapproved, is attempting to eliminate this chaos, by providing an easy to use web service, for collaborating on multiple proposals.

Solutions for proposal collaboration:

  • Office Manager- expense reports, travel requests, office leases, new hire paperwork
  • Event Planners- getting a team to agree on venue choice, budget, food and beverage, decorations, signage, travel arrangements, & guest lists
  • Creative Professionals- drive decisions on designs, layouts, news releases, budgets, final copy approvals, project outlines, marketing objectives, & key messages
  • Building & Contracting- building projects take time, during which the client often changes their mind. Tracking client approval along the way is critical to avoiding complications at the end of the project.

One of the customer testimonials on Zapproved's website talks about using this as a tool to replace their traditional requisition approval process.  This is interesting feedback, as web 2.0 tools are usually built to be flexible so you can customize and apply the tool to your business process.

8 Steps to creating & sending your proposal:

  1. Click the Create Proposal button.
  2. Enter email addresses- include any Approver(s) and anyone you wish to “cc”.
  3. Enter a title for the proposal- this text represents the subject line in the email to recipient(s).
  4. Set a due date - optional, but probably a good move to help keep your decision on the fast-track.
  5. Set priority level-  to indicate how urgently the recipient(s) must respond. The priority level determines how often the recipients get reminders (low priority items do not get reminders).
  6. Enter a message to recipients- provide the recipient(s) information about the decision under consideration.
  7. Attach a file-  if your decision requires information contained in a separate file
  8. Click send- your proposal is now on the fast track!
