Website Collaboration

A couple months back we came across this great service called SquareSpace.  It's a blog platform, however, so much more.  Esstentially, you can run your entire small business website on SquareSpace, as it offers a really intuitive platform, to create pages, with simple WYSIWYG editor's. 

We have launched our business website on SquareSpace, as it gives us the opportunity (as marketing & sales people first and foremost), to collaborate on website content.  Through the years, we have developed some html knowledge, however, it was never enough, without running into issues, or requiring assistance from a programmer.  Now with the ability to create, edit, & delete pages, we're able to keep the website fresh and up-to-date, with our latest services. 

Another selling point, was the infrastructure that you have access too.  SquareSpace uses Peer 1 Networks, to host their entire infrastructure, so this gives you complete confidence, if you do have a spike with internet traffic, there will be absolutely no problems to scale very easily.  Also, many factors like onsite SEO are already built-in to help you start optimizing your webiste for search egines, right out of the gates.

As mentioned, we only have "some" html expierence, so we had some help customising the CSS fom Stuart Hobday.  We found Stuart in the development forms on SquareSpace.  Thanks Stuart for your help on our new website.
